Juventus have dismissed head coach Igor Tudor following an eight-match winless run across all competitions, the club announced on Monday.
“Juventus FC announces that it has today relieved Igor Tudor of his duties as coach of the men’s first team, along with his staff,” the statement read. Massimo Brambilla, manager of the club’s reserve side, will take interim charge.
Tudor, who replaced Thiago Motta in March, became Juventus’s first foreign manager since Didier Deschamps in 2006–07. A former Juve defender, he spent nearly a decade at the club as a player, winning two Serie A titles and reaching a Champions League final.
After guiding the team to a fourth-place finish last season and securing Champions League qualification, Tudor’s reign unravelled this autumn. Despite a strong start, Juventus went eight games without victory — drawing five before suffering consecutive defeats to Como, Real Madrid, and Lazio.
Following Sunday’s 1-0 loss to Lazio, Tudor admitted his side were “missing something” but urged calm.
The decision marks Juventus’s earliest managerial change in a season since 1969. The Turin giants, now eighth in Serie A and goalless in four straight matches, face Udinese on Wednesday.
