Aston Villa tightened their grip on the title race with a 2-1 win over Manchester United at Villa Park.
The night belonged to Morgan Rogers, whose two goals sealed a seventh straight league victory.

Villa, now third, sit three points behind leaders Arsenal approaching the season’s halfway mark.
Rogers opened the scoring with a curling finish before United responded through Matheus Cunha.

Just after the break, Rogers struck again, drifting inside and finding the far corner.
Unai Emery’s side controlled long spells, driven by intensity and quick transitions.

United were weakened by injuries, including captain Bruno Fernandes departing at half-time.
Despite Cunha missing a late chance, Villa held firm to secure a 10th straight win in all competitions.
