Gamers must wait longer for Grand Theft Auto VI after Rockstar Games confirmed another release delay. The studio announced that the game will now launch in November 2026. This marks the second postponement after an earlier pushback from May 2026. Originally, Rockstar planned to release the game in autumn 2025. In a statement, the company asked fans for patience, explaining that it needs extra time to perfect the experience players “expect and deserve.”
Chaos, Crime, and Cars Take Center Stage
Players will soon dive into a world without limits, where they can steal cars, race through streets, and build collections of bikes, boats, and luxury vehicles. The game features thrilling police chases, intense brawls, and wild crashes. Characters shout profanity and taunt rivals in a city that thrives on speed and danger.
Vice City Returns in a Massive New World
Grand Theft Auto VI transports players to Leonida, the state that includes the neon-lit Vice City and its vast surroundings. Rockstar promises the most expansive and immersive chapter in the series yet. Since its debut 12 years ago, GTA has stood among the world’s top-selling and most acclaimed video games. Every major release—from Vice City to San Andreas and GTA IV—has strengthened its legacy as a global entertainment powerhouse. Grand Theft Auto V alone has sold over 215 million copies, securing its place as the second best-selling game ever, just behind Minecraft.
